Itinerary overview
Day 1
Airport pickup
Transfer to the hotel for check in.
Your day one activities are dependent on your arrival time - so today is relaxed to allow you time to settle in.
Tip: Tourist visas are available on arrival at the airport
6.30pm Restaurant Welcome dinner and cocktails by the pool.
Day 2
Orientation, Plein aire Painting and Artisans d' Angkor
After breakfast we meet up for an orientation of Siem Reap township and stop at a vibrant local market for our first painting session before heading to Artisan workshop and gallery.
This evening is at leisure.
Day 3
Temples of Angkor & Painting
After breakfast our private temple guide and driver transport you to the famous Angkor Wat for a tour and painting session. We stop for morning refreshments before heading to the jungle temple of Ta Prohm for soem more sketching photos and painting before returning around 1.30pm. Afternoon and evening at leisure.
Tip: Don't forget your camera and wear sturdy shoes.
On your return enjoy a 1 hour relaxation massage each.
Day 4
Painting Master Class, Cooking class & Studio visit
After breakfast painters meet up for our Master class with our artist at about 9am - on the lawn under the trees by the pool as chosen by our artist. Partners head off to a cooking class this morning and we join them for luncheon at the end of the cooking class.
About 3pm we head out to visit a local artists studio and gallery, then your evening is at leisure.
Day 5
Ancient City of Angkor Thom & plein aire painting
Angkor Thom the old city awaitis and we explore the wonderful temples in its parkland environment. The elephants are up early and so are we so we feed them some pumpkin and painters get down to a plen aire paint session whilst partners can go with our tour guide to Bayon and the other temples close by. We meet back up and can head back to the hotel or stay on to see soem more of the city area with our guide or drivers, it will be your choice. The evening is at leisure.
Day 6
Free Day
Today is a free day for you to shop, explore or maybe do more tours, it is up to you. The
evening at leisure.
Day 7
The Stilted Village Kompong Phhluk and Street Food
After a relaxing breakfast you head off for the Stilted Village of Kompong Phhluk. This guided day trip gives you an incredible insight into the ‘real’ Cambodian village life on the Great Lake Tonle Sap. Journey through local villages, explore the flooded forest and take a relaxing trip out to the lake.
This is an amazing adventure. Tours to Kompong Phhluk are seasonal and depend on access, we may sometimes change this tour to The Great Lake and the floating villages.
Tip: Don't forget your camera..
Spend the late afternoon exploring around town or enjoy a swim in our jungle pool. This is a really nice way to unwind.
Day 8
Free Day
Today is a free day for you to shop, explore or maybe do more tours, it is up to you. The evening at leisure.
Day 9
Painting Class, Art Show and Farewell Dinner
After breakfast painters meet up for our painting class with our artist at about 9am - on the lawn under the trees by the pool.
Today you finish one or more pieces for our Art Show this evening.
Join your partner for the Art Show for a drink and relax before our Farewell Dinner and cocktails in our restaurant.
Day 10
Transfer to your flight
Your options for this day really depend on your departure time from Siem Reap.
Siem Reap town offers some great shopping and plenty of cafes and restaurants. If you have time you could catch up on some shopping together or maybe just a relax by the pool before departing. Late checkout 1pm
